The Blue Planet

The Blue Planet is a BBC nature documentary series narrated by David Attenborough, exploring the different types of marine habitats - from the deepest seas to the coastal seas and the Antarctic to the Arctic - and how each of the creatures living there survive.

As David Attenborough points out in his opening narration, our planet is a blue planet: over seventy percent of it is covered by the sea. However, most of the ocean environment remains a mystery.

The series consists of eight episodes, each of which is full of stunning images to reveal the mysteries of marine creatures and their behavior. The first episode gives an overview of ocean world by showing how much portion of our planet's surface the oceans occupy, the diversity of life in and around the oceans, and how ocean life is influenced by the ocean currents, sun and moon.

And the next seven episodes deal with the different types of marine habitats and life living in them,
